To Get Started….

Step 1: You already did it (it was joining Discord! If you didn’t, please go to Star Trek: Aftermath on Roll20
Step 2: You already did it (it was joining Obsidian Portal!)
Step 3: Join Roll 20
Step 4: Sign Up For a Free Box.com Account (no one makes any money on this, but it’s a free 10GB for you and gives you access to the gaming stuff and a lot more) then send the GM the email you used to sign up with so he can give you permission to access things
Step 5: Download the Character Generator tool (which you can’t do if you don’t do step 4)
Step 6: Choose your position on the ship (Again, step 4 required)
Step 7: Go through a character generation walk through to learn how to use the tool (don’t fall in love with your first try!)
Step 8: Develop your character concept, use the CG tool, and build your Starfleet Officer. Go nuts with it! Write up details, hopes, dreams, an ugly divorce, a whirlwind romance, and why you have that artificial arm and an overpowering fear of shrimp. Or do nothing,
Step 9: Select a secondary position (not department head or higher) that you will occasionally play, but not your main. Follow steps 6 and 8.
Step 10: Grouse with the other players about what a jerk the GM is (meet and greet and have fun). We’re ready to go on the next game.

At this point we can debate the best time to play if my posted schedule doesn’t work for everyone.
